Be Inspired Monday: Just Remember…

few months ago we quoted Gandhi’s famous quote ‘Be The Change You want to See in the World.”

as we set ourselves the goal to become that change we need few more inspiration from the same man. perhaps these are not his own words but maybe his words inspired others to rewrite more inspirational quotes.

the first quote is ambiguous, i think it means change your pessimist outlook on life, BELIEVE in YOURSELF, don’t be doubtful of your abilities!

we believe this place come become a forum where we can share our goals to make that change in the world, and work together as one to make it come true .

Be Inspired Monday and stay inspired this week!

Be Inspired Monday: Lifecycle

today I want to share with our TC30s readers a manifesto I shared on my personal blog last week.

I know is a recycle but good inspirational thoughts are better shared twice than once and some of you don’t read my blog so it is fair to share it here.

Source: okdani.com via TOI on Pinterest

this inspires me so much because it feels like i wrote it. you see, i’ve written about these kind on inspirational quotes on TC30s and here and there on my offline journal, but having a manifesto for it makes everything so clear.

i love blogging because it is a mega forum where we can all share experiences and inspire others.

as the manifesto reads “… life is about the people you meet, and things you create with them… [and] life is short, live your dream and share you passion.”

my passion is writing and reading. i am trying my best to complete a young adult fiction. i would love to be a motivational speaker. it’s based on this passion that i want to start this new series. it is a movement between us women to share, search and hold onto our individuality to make us confident. you are the people i’ve met and i want to create this together. some of you lovely ladies are already part of this series, but the more the merrier.

SHE ROCKS… {click to learn more}

…is about you, about me, about her, about us… is a movement to keep every real woman's individuality ALIVE.

let’s team up for this new movement.

all the best,

xoxo TOI.

Be Inspired Monday: Training

I am reading The Essence of Happiness by His Holiness The Dalai Lama.I read the following quote and I would like to share with you.
No matter what atticity or practice we are pursuing, there isn't anything that isn't made easier through constant familiarity and training. Through training, we can change; we can transform ourselves.
Hope this inspire all of us.

Have a great Monday!

Be Inspired Monday: Mi-Inspiration

Sometimes we talk about how celebrities inspire us but there are so many NON-celebrity women out there that inspire so much. Saturday we featured Miesha, the blogger behind Mi-Inspire... healthy lifestyle transformation, a blogger we fell in love with because she is a true inspiration because through her life transformation she shows us what means to have a focus, determination and motivation to achieve a healthy and fullfilling lifestyle.
My Photo

Miesha's letter made us think about the importance of giving oneself a good advice from young age and looking at life through positive lenses. And TC30s love living life as best as we can live it.
We hope many people could re-read these lines:
Never allow anyone else to dictate or control your life. As an adult you are
capable of making your own decisions. You may not always make the right choices but the key is learning from your mistakes and moving forward. A person that says they love you does not abuse you, whether that be mental or physical abuse. A person that says they love you does not take from you either. At the first signs of abusive behavior hit the road and never look back. The backlash of abuse can been felt for many years in ways that you'll never imagine.
It is okay to seek help when you feel like you are battling something that you no longer have control over. You are not a failure because you are not perfect. Nobody is perfect. It is not healthy to try to live up to others' expectations for your life. Your family history does not have to set the precedence for your life. Watching your mother get abused doesn't mean that you have to be abused. Choose a better path for yourself. Surround yourself with positive, nurturing people that only have your best interest at heart.
We believe that to do better in life one must surround her/himself with positive and nurturing people. Positive thinking is a true key to success!

We hope this letter inspires you on today's Be Inspired Monday.

Be Inspired Monday: Believe In You

Today we would like to share three quotes about self-belief

"God
didn't have time to make a nobody, only a somebody.I believe that each of us has God-given talents within us waiting to be brought to fruition.
"

Mary Kay Ash

"Your belief determines your action and your action determines your results, but first you have to believe."
Mark Victor Hansen

"Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.
"
Norman Vincent Peale

Be Inspired Monday: Balance

I am one of those people who overcomplicate everything I do. I've accumulated too much stuff which I find very difficult get rid of.

But it comes to a time a person needs to streamline her or his life. I am trying to do that and slowly I am getting there. I am focusing on the important things in my life. I reassed my priorities. I know what I really want and what I really need.

I know balance it is key in any chosen goal in life.

How do you organise your time? How do you achieve balance without going crazy?

Please confess on TC30s :)!

Be Inspired Monday: Never Forget

Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Many of us still remember what we were doing the minute the world changed. Yes, the world changed on September 11, 2001. From that moment on we were introduced to strict security checks and war was declared on TERROR. Causing terror in the whole world.

We cannot forget how our lives has changed. How an innocent face can now be mistaken for someone else. How a garment around someone's face or head can be looked upon with suspiscious eyes. How people united together and cried on strangers' shoulders.
In remembering those whose lives changed drastically after the events of 9/11, let's never forget to enjoy and be thankful for each waking moment. To let our beloved ones know how much we appreciate their lives in our lives. Let's never forget to LOVE giving our 100% and WORK 100% to reach our dreams!

Never forget, Be Inspired Monday!

Be Inspired Monday: No Limit

Did you watch Expedition Impossible? I was addicted to it. If you did watch it then you know who were the No Limit group. The group was composed by three men. One is blind, the other broke his leg half way the mission, leaving them vulnerable in the adventure. They had to go through lot of diversities but managed to come third in show. They never saw themselves as victims.

They inspire me because they showed that no matter what may come in your life, you have to push forward and never give up.

Hope they inspire you too on this labour day!

Be Inspired Monday: Elements of Inspiration...

although I like her music, I don't like her diva stage presence - it gives mix messages. however, we have something in commom:

elements of inspiration (I selected some scenes for you to watch)___
Times: 00:06, 03:02, 04:50 and 21:04

WATER: "I am always happy when I am surrounded by
water... The ocean makes me feel really small and it puts my life into
perspective. It reminds me... I am a very little piece of this huge
earth. It humbles you and it grounds you...
and I am born again when I get out of the ocean."

SCUBA DIVING: "... I was in such a great peaceful state. It inspired purity."

Swimming is like a therapy to my soul.

STARS: "... Sometimes we don't reach for the stars. Sometimes we are satisfied with what people tell us we are supposed to be satisfied with. And I am not going for it.[the weak mindset]"

I always want to reach for the stars.

"I am learning how to drown out the constant noise which is such an inseparable part of my life. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. I only have to follow my heart and concentrate on what I want to say to the world. I run my world."

We need inspiration in our lives but, at the end of it all, we run our own world!

Be Inspired Monday: Age Is Just A Number

I am aware that knowledge is empowering but sometimes that knowledge pushes us into a state of fear and panic. That's the case when it comes to ageing. As another year add onto our already levitating years we fret because we are ageing. We worry about the horrible nightmares caused by wrinkles and how we lost count of the grey hair.

But what if we didn't know our real age? Would we be so obsessed about the lack of not achieving a goal we set ourselves before a certain number. I wanted to have a red sporty car by the age of 25, but that didn't happen. I would like to get my first book published by the 30, but what if that doesn't happen. What if I get it published by the age of 32 or 35, would I refuse. Of course not, because I know age is just a number. It more what we feel and how we achieve a goal that matters, not when. Is our nature to set goals and if we don't reach those goals by a certain age we become depressed and fearful.

There is one person that inspires me as I grow older: my grandmother.

I know that my grandmother doesn't know her real age. She was born in a period in which people didn't care about noting one's year of birth. They only went by events happening in the time. One day I asked her when she was born and she told me "I was born when this thing happened." It sounded funny to me but then realised that all her life she was able to be who she wanted to be without letting a number condition her life. Although she doesn't know her real age that doesn't effect her way of life. She is till living, she can dance and take care of her well-being without fretting about how old her non-existent birth certificate might have told her.I believe that the age on our birth certificate push us into a state of panic each year. What if we were like the generation of my grandmother, would we fret so much about age. Because, really, when it comes to living life to its fullest we should remember, age is just a number! Also as Bryan Adams sung I want to be 18 till I Die...

"...it's not how ya look, it's what ya feel inside..."

That's my anthem, just because I am ageing thanks to the numerical system on my birth certificate and grey hair in places..., inside I feel young no matter the numbers on that fascist paper.

Ladies, let confess, do you let age condition your life? Which song inspires you to live your age at its best?
