Spring Cleaning

It is that time of year again when we change our closets over from winter, dreary clothes to spring/summer clothes. This is a lovely time of year.  Spring Cleaning! Commonly people will also clean out their homes, get raid of items that they haven't used for years. While we clean out our clothes and household items, let us not forget to clean out emotional baggage that we may be holding on to.  Like our winter clothes in our closets, when we add our spring/summer clothes, our closets become overwhelmed and burdened.  When we don't let go of emotional baggage, we over burden ourselves and can break down, emotionally, spiritually and physically.  As spring comes in strong and vibrant, let us remember to not only clean house but clean our minds and hearts as well!

What feelings were you going through when you found out your were expecting?

3X the LOVE

Valentine's Day just passed however i cannot help but reflect on love this dreary friday.  Love is such a powerful thing that evokes so much emotionality out of us as human beings.  Isn't love, the ability to feel love, that gives us our souls and sets us apart from machines?
It is great to think that there is a  progression from friendship love to romantic love to unconditional love.  And i am glad to say that i believe my Mr. and i have progressed through the three types of love and would like to think we have arrived at unconditional love. 

Let us take a look at the 3 Types of Love:

1) Philos love - a love based on friendship between two people

2) Eros love - known as "erotic love". It is based on strong feelings toward another. It usually occurs in the first stages of a man-woman "romantic" relationship.

3) Agape - unconditional love

The physical, mental and spiritual kind of love is found in the 3 types of love.  We can all hope to someday feel some kind of love our way, whatever type it is, i hope you feel it and i hope you have the capacity to give it too!

I am inspired today by the unconditional love i feel on this dreary friday!  I know that because i have agape love, whatever the weather may be outside, i feel nothing but sunshine and roses deep within me!

Be Inspired Monday: Love

I don't know about you ladies, but love makes me weak yet stronger than the wind. For love I could stand on a hill to fight the tempest. Love inspires me to be less stubborn. Love inspires me to be more creative.

For love I wrote the following poem and I am not afraid to share it with everyone. I hope you like it enough to share with your loved one.

Wednesday Fashion Item: The Lace Dress

Although I like lace lingerie, I am not a lace dresses fan. However, when I saw the following dresses online I couldn't resist admiring the lace Marchesa dress worn by Lauren Conrad... ...and the way Taylor Swift worn the lace Reiss dress.

I know lace dresses are romantic and can be in your wardrobe for a life time, but wearing lace is not my style. Seeing these two lace dresses have made me want to try on one. I would to know if I can become more romantic by wearing a lace dress. Hopefully I will wear one for this Valentine's day. If I do I will definitely confess on TC30s ;)!
