Don't despair, today I want to reveal a little trick which can boost your New Year fitness regime. Try chewing a small amount of ginger after each exercise.

Recently scientists found out that chewing a small amount of raw ginger reduces pains for up to 24 hours after a workout.

If chewing is not your thing, you can slice some raw ginger, then add hot water and a little bit of honey.

This will not only be a great winter treat, but it is a superb antidote for a chilly run in the park.
